The Sugar Hill Story

Before there is wine,
there is the work.

Sugar Hill Vineyard began in 2024 with more than four hundred vines planted into the rolling ground of Franklin, Tennessee.

We are building this vineyard season by season, learning what the land asks of us and giving young vines the time they need to establish deep roots.

There will be no estate harvest this season. That is not a delay in the story. This is the story: patient work now, so the wines that eventually carry the Sugar Hill name can be worthy of it.

The Vineyard

Rooted in
Franklin.

Our vines grow through warm Southern summers, shifting rainfall, and the red-clay character of Middle Tennessee. We are farming for strength first, then balance, maturity, and fruit with a genuine sense of place.
